Throughout your childs journey at Hamilton College we offer an extensive careers programme to support everyone to make informed choices about life after school, and to ensure they follow the correct pathway to their desired career goal.
We work with a qualified, professional career’s advisor, Mrs Clarkson, who provides group and one-to-one interviews throughout the senior school phase. The Senior Leadership Team, Pastoral staff and classroom teachers work collaboratively to guide pupils through their option choices, and UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) and College applications process, preparing pupils for life after Hamilton College.
We use our dedicated Careers Library and online resources to enable pupils to research their interests and explore career pathways. Through Lifeskills lessons pupils are provided with a range of extensive materials to develop knowledge, understanding and to equip them to make confident and considered choices in their future. This is supplemented with online resources and materials that we post on the schools Teams platform for pupils to access 24/7.
