Hamilton College Anniversary Gala Ball - Hilton Glasgow - Saturday 17 June

I would like to formally invite you to join me at the Hamilton College 40th Anniversary Gala Ball. The event will be on Saturday 17 June, starting at 7pm at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.

This event will no doubt be the highlight of our fundraising year and it would be wonderful for the Hamilton College Community to gather for an evening of good food, fundraising, nostalgia and entertainment. I am delighted to confirm that our host for the evening will be popular radio personality Gina McKie and we will be dancing to the high energy sounds of the very talented WooHoo Band. The Hilton Hotel has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment and the venue provides the perfect setting for us to come together and celebrate forty years of Hamilton College.

This is a formal occasion and will be a black-tie event. The tickets will be £100 per person and a table of 10 is £1,000. During the evening, there will be a chance to take part in the raffle, silent and live auctions and a few more fun activities. All profits from the event will go towards our school projects. For our fortieth anniversary, we are committed to improving our Science Labs, our Sports Changing Facilities and a Multi-use Outdoor Play Area. Improvements to these areas will benefit our current pupils as well as future generations.

This event is a great opportunity to bring the community, past and present, all together. I enjoyed meeting former pupils at our quiz night last month and I would like to see as many current parents and former pupils attend this event as possible. If you wish for us to sit you at an appropriate table, please provide as much information as you can on the return form and we will look after you and join you with other parents or former pupils.

If, for some reason, you cannot attend the event but wish to be part of our 40th year celebrations, please contact our Marketing Department who would be delighted to hear from you.

I do hope you can join me for what will be an evening filled with fun and fundraising for our wonderful school.

Yours sincerely

Richard A Charman
