Hamilton College aims to help the pupils in our care to become

Each pupil is allocated a Guidance teacher who will support and work alongside them as they progress through Senior School. We, as a school, feel that it is important for a child to have continuity at key transitional points, e.g. from J7 to S1, option choice between S2 & S3, and again further up the school.
Often the first point of contact for a parent will be their child’s Guidance teacher. Currently the pupils are allocated a Guidance teacher on the basis of their surname.
