Admissions at Hamilton College

Admissions and Fees

Admissions procedure

Our prospectus pack, which contains an enrolment card, can be requested by clicking the ‘request prospectus' link. Alternatively parents can request a prospectus by calling 01698 282700.

We would encourage you and your child to visit Hamilton College to experience our caring Christian environment and to meet our pupils and staff. Our annual Open Day usually takes place in late October/early November, however should you be unable to attend this event we will be happy to arrange a alternative date for you to visit.

Should you wish to apply for a place at Hamilton College we would ask that you complete and return the enrolment card together with an administration fee of £30.00. Once you have enrolled your child your details will be held on file and we will contact you with information relating to the entrance assessments, which take place in January.

Our informal assessment is designed to recognise your child's abilities and learning potential. Where appropriate, assessment results are taken into consideration alongside a report from your child's previous school.

The main entry points to the School are Kindergarten, J1 and S1 however, it is possible to enter at other stages subject to availability of places. Enquiries should be directed to Lorraine Logan.
